What a weekend!
Lilly had quite the weekend. First off, on Saturday Dec 18th she turned 4 months. Also on this day we went travelling to visit 3 of Craig's Great Aunts. To Lilly....Great, Great Aunts.) We started at Aunt Sybils house. Had a very good visit with her. Then off to Corbeil to visit Aunt Elenor. Aunt Elenor gave Lilly a gift certificate when she was born to a fancy kids store in town. So of course Lilly thanked her. She sat on Aunt Elenor's lap and smiled away at her. Then we drove around the corner to Aunt Jos. Aunt Jo loved Lilly also. She really liked to hold her and couldn't get over how heavy she was.....for a girl..... We have some pics of the great Aunties with her that I will get up.
That night we came home. Lilly was of course, pooped from being so cute, so she slept. Craig and I decided to try her on cereal last night. So we were busy preparing things...like getting the high chair out.....sterilzing dishes....Lilly woke up. So we took her upstairs to our bed for "tummytime". While she was working on holding her head up....she rolled herself over!!!! Craig and jumped up and shouted that we were soooo happy! But just to be sure it wasn't a fluke....we made her do it again....twice....just to be sure. Of course, she rolled both times!
Then came the cereal. We sat her up in her high chair and I fed her while Daddy took pics. At first she wasn't too sure about it....then she realized it was food....and she ate....kinda. She would suck it off the spoon and then smile at me and it would all come back out. So I am not sure how much she actually got...but she had a blast trying!
Then today (Sunday) she visited Santa!!! Lilly had to go first to show Baxter how it was done....(Baxter used to be afraid of Santa...but not today!) Lilly sat on his lap and got a gift. It is a big teddy bear! I swear it is bigger than her! I am not sure how the picture is going to turn out since we were rushed...lots of kids at this Christmas party....hopefully it looks okay.
Well that was the weekend. Can't wait til next weekend.....

4 month check up!
Lilly had her second set of shots today. Daddy was able to come with us this time and was quite impressed with himself since he didn't cry. Actually niether did Lilly! She was terrific...of course. The nurses all had to come in and check out how damn cute she is....not that we minded.
Lilly weighs 14 pounds and is 62.5 cms long. Which works out to just over 2ft tall. So she will be taller than me by the time she is three! As of January 1st she gets to try a bit of cereal. She is ready for it now but with all the travelling we are doing within the next few weeks, I want her schedule as normal as possible. So as Grandma Lemkay pointed out....we are starving her for the next three weeks.....yah right! She just gets her meals sooner now. Lilly also got a sleigh as an early Christmas present from Grandma and Poppa Lemkay....hope to have those pics up soon.
I had my (gulp) 31st birthday over the weekend. It was quite a day. Lilly wasn't feeling very well so we cancelled our dinner plans with Sheri, Robb and Caitlin, and stayed home and ordered in instead. Somehow Sophie got a hold of a chicken bone without anyone seeing it and managed to eat most of it before we caught her. (She was scared shitless! She peed up the stairs!) We tried to get a hold of our vet....who wasn't taking calls and had no one to cover for him....(nice) so we called Pete and Diane's vet. They called back within 5 minutes! (Guess who is changing vets now???) Apprently if she didn't choke on it when it went down she should be okay. However, the bone could hurt her insides if she isn't careful. So if she didn't puke within 24 hours she would be fine. The following day....she was her normal hyper self...running all over....so I guess she is fine! If it isn't one kid it is the other eh???

It's a winter wonderland......yeah right....
So...how do you shovel dirt again....
Check out the rest of the photo's, I've already called Public Works. This is really starting to get on my nerves. I think if I started taking names and sent them viruses and crashing their home computers they would be a little more careful...actually I'm not asking for careful...all I want is them to not throw 10lbs of gravel on the driveway everytime it snows.
